There is a new pharmaceutical drug for heartburn and acid reflux diseases called Aciphex. There are only two options for the marketing decision based on this brand name.

1. They didn't say it aloud to themselves or were too conservative to actually realize what it sounded like.
2. They know exactly how it sounds and are actually using it as a crass marketing ploy to inject a taboo and sex into their medication for the purpose of gaining awareness.

Either one is ridiculous, but it still remains that they could have at least spelled it correctly. Who wouldn't take AssEffects if they were having trouble swallowing?

In fact, I like the trend, maybe the next set of pharmaceuticals they make could be named in this fashion. Here are my suggestions:

My first blog sucked. Will this one be better? I have changed since then. I am still cynical, because I still believe cynicism is necessary. How is believing everyone is telling the truth and people love each other for who they are make for any humor in the world? Much more important, how is it interesting?

I am less cynical however. Through the emergence of social media, I've actually come to believe something I never did about the human race. People actually do care about what other people think. So I'll go against my previously held belief that no one cares what I have to say and start up this blog assuming that people will actually read it if I write.

I like to think I'm an interesting person. I've been told I think differently than most people. Those thoughts will be documented here from now on. The deviations of thought for myself and the human race.
